Celestin Restaurant on Mount Pleasant Road in Toronto is a fabulous venue for small weddings. The food is wonderful, and the desserts are classic French and delicious.
The Mount Pleasant Road section south of Eglinton Avenue is a true neighbourhood hub. It has two old time movie theatres – the Regent Theatre and the Mount Pleasant Theatre. The street also has a great selection of restaurants and pubs to choose from. Sadly, the long-time family owned Penrose Fish and Chips has closed.
Occasionally, a bride will take a pass on wedding cake and choose another way to sweeten the wedding day. This happened at a wedding we recently photographed at the beautiful Celestin Restaurant where guest were offered an assortment of tasty teats. We had the pleasure of both photographing and sampling the wonderful pastries. Toronto wedding photography sure is tasty!
